ABOUT
THE
COMPANY
TouchPay is an international company with our head
office situated in Johannesburg, South Africa.
TouchPay has developed an Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT) switching system called TranGate that provides
for both financial and non-financial transactions.
TouchPay adopts a business policy of using our
technology and business practices to empower
partners in each of the countries in which we
deploy. We take specific cognisance of local
infrastructure and business environment to train up
local individuals on the technical and management
aspects of the business.
TouchPay provides the technology
required and plans the infrastructure necessary for
the implementation. Transactions can be initiated
(and responses sent) using a variety of delivery
channels, the primary one being Point Of Sale (POS)
terminals. These devices will typically be placed at
locations such as banking malls, garages, retail
outlets, convenience stores, Post Office outlets,
schools, etc.

TouchPay develop all solutions
in-house and have successfully integrated our
systems into a number of core banking systems.
TouchPay will provide the technology, operational
and business procedures, products and training for
partners to not only process the transactions, but
also reconcile and settle all transactions.
The primary delivery platform of choice is a Point
Of Sale (POS) device but other delivery channels are
also supported, including mobile devices (e.g. cel
phones, PDA), Internet, ATMs and Self Service
Devices (SSD).
